Outbound

In working with US businesses in Japan, we provide assistance in finding strategic partners and creating a positive relationship with those partners. We also help negotiate and conclude appropriate contracts with those partners. We provide assistance to US businesses both in exporting products from the US and in importing those products into Japan. We have extensive experience with setting up businesses in Japan, including both branch offices and independent companies. Inbound

In working with Japanese businesses here in the US, we handle a broad range of legal, business and cultural matters. This includes helping with site selection for manufacturing facilities and office space, coordinating with government officials for support and financial aid, selecting an appropriate legal entity for the business and forming that entity, obtaining necessary work visas, drafting contracts with suppliers, vendors and other partners, and providing other general advise both at the start-up phase and on an on-going basis.
